Gotta Have Those Dumplings!

Whenever I make chicken soup in our house it includes a little bit of this and a little bit of that – no recipe really. What I can tell you though is I slow simmer those chicken backbones for hours, strain the broth, cool in the fridge, skim the fat off the top, put it on the stove and start adding ingredients and spices. And if I’m feeling extra frisky I’ll even whip up a batch of dumplings to toss on top. Just last night when my honey saw me messin’ with this photo he requested that I try making the chicken soup creamed next time. Now that sounds really yummy, huh?
